Last week was a good week my hubby became a US citizen. So we had to drive to San Diego for the ceremony. It was such a long ceremony and there were over 550 people present just to swear in for citizenship. I couldn't imagine that it would be some many that sought citizenship.Besides that it also had 15 military that got sworn in before the civilians. This has been a lifetime dream for my husband ever since he arrived in the US at age 11 from Monrovia Liberia and he has definitely proved that he loves the United States since he has been a Marine for over 13 years. Its funny that immigrants seem to be more proud to be a citizen than those of us that are naturally born. I watched the faces of so many on that day that reflected so much love , excitement and accomplishment for finally being a part of our great country. I love my country and I love all those that are proud to become a part of what America stands for we are a nation that holds many different races and cultures in our soil. I am so proud of my hubby for loving this country and embracing its heritage, adversity and honor.I think that I learned a lot during that ceremony that makes me love my USA and all those that have come before us to share in the freedom that it offers. To all the Military that fight for this country and keep us safe: You are the empathy of what this nation stands for and the reason why so many people chose to became citizens, so they can now be free to choose a better life.
I LOVE YOU AMERICA AND I LOVE ALL THOSE THAT HOLD TRUE TO OUR UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION." THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL"!
