Blessed Be

It is yet another day that God has made and as with each day I continue to be blessed. Just looking at my life I can truly say that I am just a pebble in the road on the path towards his glory. I have so much to be thankful for a loving family,friends,children and a husband that God could have only sent. If only more souls could open up to him and then they would know my Joy.
God I ask for your grace and magnify your name , I shout it from every mountain and I sing it in the valleys low. I thank you father for being my everything and knowing all my needs....Amen"

Affirm your Life (step one)

Affirmations are words that we speak that can affect us in a positive way or sometimes negatively. I will discuss how affirmations work and how to effectually change the way you believe and think. Is so simple ; a man is what he believes himself or herself to be. If you say I am so lonely then that is what you will become and remind to be. As the bible says "As a man speaketh so he shall become" in other words ,if hear it enough then it must be so. I think the first step is to clear out of the negative energy and words that are around you. I do mean let's clean house , No more negative words from yourself or others it can only stop you from being the person that GOD wants all of us to become.

An prosperous person is one that believes in themselves and lets nothing stand in their way this includes negative forces around them. They learn to keep them away and not let people that have negativity in their lives. Shake that negative tree , lose all the bad fruit and plant a prosperity tree in your life. Nothing is holding you back but you , stop blaming things on others or situations, etc, because it is all about your self beliefs. I don't allow people to speak negative things around me it messes with my positive energy flow. So lets only try saying this each day of our life; Everything and everybody prospers me now. You can say it often throughout your day but once it becomes a reality in your soul then it will manifest in some many different forms and times in your life. Just say it and it will become a part of you. Believe it and receive it. If you plant it, it will grow. I will discuss affirmations further with you as I continue this topic, but you need to absorb what I have given.

Michael Jackson has Died at age 50

It has been a lifetime it seems like for me since I have had this man as a part of my life. I can remember meeting him when he was apart of his brothers group the Jackson Five; at a friends home when I was a teenager. I have seen this man remake himself into such a wonderful performer ,entertainer and a father. I cant image how my life has been changed in someway by his music , videos and just his presence. The world has lost two great people today including Farrah Fawcett at age 62 and I think we will forever hold a place in our hearts for all their creativity, that we have experienced through their careers. Angels they only could have been in this life for the courage that they displayed throughout their lifetimes. I am sure that MJ has touched so many of us and he was the King of POP. Mike Tyson's Loss of a Child

I cant believe how cold the world has become when a parent losses a child. Mike Tyson is a parent and he has lost his child due to a terrible accident. I heard it on the news and I read it online but I will tell you that no matter how much you may dislike the fighter that he is still a human being and a father that has to bury his little girl. Yahoo news had a post about his daugther and if you look at the reply posts most of them are very hateful. I must say that I may not have agreed with Mike Tyson and some of his faults but I would never wish him any harm or as some say bad Karma (loss of his child) that was due him for his sins. Well I don't think GOD lives here on earth and I know that I would never want anyone to loose a child. I would like to pass on my prayers for this man and his family in his time of need..... May GOD keep you lifted and may his blessings always be upon you.... AMEN. I am sure that you baby girl is smiling down from heaven on you. Love yourself

How many of us can say that we love ourselves? Can you look in the mirror and see your flaws? Look close at your life and see how your are living. Do you try to do the right thing when it comes to family and friends? I know that we are not perfect but do you believe that you are never guilty of any wrong doings that clearly have your name on them. I do love myself enough to admit when I am at fault or that I am not perfect but I do love myself enough to try very hard to do what is right. I always love myself enough to love others no matter if they don't love me. The hardest thing we have in this world is to admit to oneself that we do not have wings at least not yet but for some this may never be a reachable task. Blessed

Each of us has a tendency to take life for granted. So why do we do that? Is it because we just believe that the world evolves around us. I will tell you that with out GOD there is no life. I have had many trials and if I had my head on right maybe I could have avoided some of them but nevertheless I came through landing on a cloud. I truly didn't do it along because I was not able to change what was going on in my life without calling to Him for help. I had to learn to be thankful and give all of my trials as well as my joys to the Lord. What I am saying to you is that if it was not for God where would I be, OK I am ready to sing now... I do know that I couldn't have made it without Him as the center of my life. If you don't know what I mean then you are on the wrong path ...so please turn around and walk with him. Being blessed and highly favored is a phrase that I do know to be a reflection of my life. I have been on the top of the world and in the mud but God always made a way for me, out of no way. I could write on this forever if I were to list all of my blessings just know that through every trail that I was truly blessed. Amen to the glory of his giving his life for me... Its so hard to say GOODBYE

Well it was hard but its done my family is now in Japan and I hate them being so far away. I know that this is something that I have to get use to but it hurts to loose good friends that have become family. I wont be able to see my babies and hear them say I love u... but I will continue to see them in my heart. This couple are are such a wonderful mom and dad because they give so much time and love to their family. I want them to know that no matter how far away they are that they will always be right here in my heart. I couldn't have made it without your hugs and kind words....love ya girl ...my little sister. So nice to have Real Friends

As we all know we are taught in life as small children to get along with others and this is how we learn to correctly function sociably. Even though sometimes I believe people often lack, that very much needed skill. It is socially correct to develop good skills to survive in the real world but some of us don't seem to grasp the meaning of being a friend or as some coin it a REAL friend. Let me just say that is takes a lot of effort to get along with individuals that are from different cultures or backgrounds mainly because we are all just that different and that is what makes each of us unique. If you really think about it it really isn't difficult to have associates as they come and go throughout our life. Often real friends have disagreements (we are all born to disagree) but there isn't really a need to go to war about what someone has said about you and so you learn to forgive. If you are in someones mouth all the time then you must be a very important person ; in the fact anyone that talks against another for any reason (should stop and look in the mirror) really doesn't have the right to judge or be critical. In life we have few friends but many acquaintances and this should be very clear to all that are adults. Friendships are earned, treasured and never wasted or thrown away so easily over words. I was taught that it takes a better person to forgive than one that holds a grudge. It is so easy to be pleasant and much harder to be hoarse and unkind besides that think of all the wrinkles you will save just by being forgiven. We can forgive some of the worse things but hold on to the ones that are less harmful to us. To quote a child's rhyme "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never harm me". HAG. ....Did You Check your Mirror

This is to all who HATE it does not affect me, so stop wasting time with your stupid blog (since I blog you decided to do it), myspace ,yahoo status comments and etc. Look little ones it doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that you are CRAZY and that you do need a SHRINK( In fact I would love to have you be the first on my couch)HHHMMM I don't think any one can help you but I hear MEDICATION works well on PSYCHO'S. It so simple to everyone that you are a simple minded person so you should not worry about anyone talking about YOU... I don't waste my breath. Besides you aren't important enough for me to even give a thought about. I just thought that you needed to see it in print. I LOVE THE TALK BECAUSE YOU CANT BACK ANYTHING UP except Flap you Big LIPS... FLAP FLAP FLAP. Sorry to tell you but the persons that runs back and tells stuff is not worth my time either because all I had to do was Bait the HOOK. Words of advice you are not hurting me or my love ones because I LOVE IT that I am so DAMN important that you keep FLAPPING.

Lets talk about Honesty

Today a friend calls you and starts to put a mutual friend down but you listen to the stuff that this individual is saying , so now what would you do to stop this from happening again. A) Just ignore it and say nothing. B) Tell this person that they should not offer any gossip because you don't believe in talking about others. C) Do you just add some more gossip to it. D) Make a excuse and not even bother to hear it. OK there are a few possible solutions but before you decide I want you to focus on how you would feel if you were the person that this call was about. I personally hate gossip it is the devils play house for doing harm to others and most of all I could only imagine that same person spreading the gossip, truly is not a friend at all. Friends are to support each other not condemn them . So think now,which would you do? My grandmother told me that "If you cant say nothing good about someone then it is best to say nothing at all."I must admit I do at times listen and this is only because it lets me know whom I can or never trust with anything private or important information. I firmly believe that those that talk about you the most are those that don't have a life of their own. Because we all may live in a glass house but tell me who will be the first to throw a stone and not receive several back in its place. Ladies we are all perfect...Ha Ha Ha well I know I am not crazy enough to say that I am better but I know that can be the best of most.

Stop throwing Stones

So now let me tell you that a real woman does not tell lies or do the she said he said shit. It just lets the world know that you do not have all your eggs in one basket. If I were to react to the BS that goes on then I am just as stupid as the person that is sending it. Grow up stop being a ASS all your life but that may be why you don't have any REAL friends ,now are from the past. When people are always trying to convince others that they are Real then it is very clear that you are not a true friend. Life is to short to spend time throwing stones at others because you are living in a glass house. AAAAWWWW watch out for breaking GLASS because you will get cut. If words could hurt then you would be the first one that caused the injury to others. Come on some of us have grown tired of your flakiness and it should be clear that WE SEE YOU. HE HE HE HE.... Please learn to be good to one another and stop throwing stones. Just remember before you start throwing stones make sure you have on your body armour. My Special Day

It may seem sometimes that time is standing still well let me assure you that it waits for no one. I have been blessed with much and never less than what God wills me to receive. It has been a journey through life that I embrace with the knowledge and grace that I have learned through its course. Maybe if we would just stop listening to other people's sad song then we could sing a tune of our own. I celebrated my life last week with much thankfulness and somewhat a sad heart because I lost a man that was my friend, father and the grandfather to my eldest son.
This man was a Tuskegee Airman and he flew The Dutchess through many battles but he left behind many that will continue to carry his torch. I had the pleasure of knowing this great man at the age of 14 and I have loved him more with each day of my life. I often think about what if I hadn't became a part of his family and just where I would be. I honor this man with these words from a song that has helped to keep me strong in life.

Why should I feel discouraged?
Why should the shadows come?
Why should my heart feel lonely?
And long for heaven and home.
When Jesus is my portion.

Big and Better Things

It has been a year since I enrolled in school so I have decided that I need to move on to another university so I can focus more on my speciality for my degree. It has been a wonderful year and I have done very well with maintaining an GPA of 3.67 so I am tooting my own horn. TOOT TOOT! I want to tell you that anyone is able to achieve anything in life. You just need to believe in yourself and if I can do well then it is possible. AAAAWWWW it feels so good to be able to reach my goals that, I have set in my life because I have always finish what I start. I encourage my children to do the best in all that they do and to finish well. To all you party girls then party on but don't forget to obtain all your goals that you set in life. I never knew Chicas is a "B" word

OK girls if we want to bring out the claws then let me say that I can cut a head off without even being there. If we are women as we claim to be, then we need to stop hiding behind myspace pages. Just because you wear the clothes it don't make you a woman, wife nor a great mother.
To those whom think they are so special or important I am her to tell you that we all are just as or more IMPORTANT. It doesn't matter what rank your Marine is because it doesn't make you any better than all the other great Marine Wifeys that are out there. They try hard to be classy ladies but it takes only one to put a rotten egg in the basket to make it smell. Stop the slandering and name calling Honey it only tells everyone that you are a crazy, ignorant, self centered, jealous, immature WITCH. You want to hide behind texting and myspace and do you dirty work well it doesn't hurt anyone but you. So who is ghetto now but you don't even know what that means but try looking in the mirror then you will know ghetto. BELIEVE ME YOU ARE FULL OF IT AND WE ALL KNOW IT. So you better be careful what you are texting because all eyes are on you CHICA. I always knew that you are a very evil and bitter person that loves to lie to others that don't know not to listen or hide behind all your fake friends (because you don't have any BFFs) but they are only a reflection of who you really are. Citizenship

Last week was a good week my hubby became a US citizen. So we had to drive to San Diego for the ceremony. It was such a long ceremony and there were over 550 people present just to swear in for citizenship. I couldn't imagine that it would be some many that sought citizenship.Besides that it also had 15 military that got sworn in before the civilians. This has been a lifetime dream for my husband ever since he arrived in the US at age 11 from Monrovia Liberia and he has definitely proved that he loves the United States since he has been a Marine for over 13 years. Its funny that immigrants seem to be more proud to be a citizen than those of us that are naturally born. I watched the faces of so many on that day that reflected so much love , excitement and accomplishment for finally being a part of our great country. I love my country and I love all those that are proud to become a part of what America stands for we are a nation that holds many different races and cultures in our soil. I am so proud of my hubby for loving this country and embracing its heritage, adversity and honor.I think that I learned a lot during that ceremony that makes me love my USA and all those that have come before us to share in the freedom that it offers.To all the Military that fight for this country and keep us safe: You are the empathy of what this nation stands for and the reason why so many people chose to became citizens, so they can now be free to choose a better life.

Marine Wifeys Lets help one another

OK since we all have problems or concerns does it make you any different from the next person? Oh come on of course not ,we all have trials that we must face in life so why not embrace these as test of our faith or wisdom. You can do anything with your life because you control your destiny.If I were to list all my trials( problems) then I could write forever but I can tell you that each one has made me a stronger and better person. I continue to embrace my life steps with vigor and fulfillment because I know that I will learn with each path that I take. We all have someone we know that is going through something but do you offer wisdom or do you ridicule and gossip about them instead. AW WW well you aren't much of a confidant or a friend.I am no angel but I DON'T LIKE GOSSIP and I may listen but I am always thinking damn if they are telling me this then WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE? Truly they are not that concerned about that individuals feelings or that they trusted in them enough to share their pain.You need to look in the mirror or maybe you or blind to what is happening in your life, believe me some of us live in a fantasy world full of a perfect life and all I can say is that you must be living on a different planet or your brain isn't working. The only way any of us can say we are without suffering or pain (perfect) is that we must be dead and live in heaven. So here we are yet again another deployment, AW WWW this is getting to be a thorn in my backside. How many wives want there hubby gone for 7 mos at a time? I am dreading each one and this makes 3 in three years. Can my marine ever be at home so we can plan a vacation, family time, or just a long romp in the hay? Absolutely not, that is not the Marine Corp way but I do admit that I feel like each reunion is like being on a honeymoon with every return... Damn I never had a honeymoon. I love my marine and it is lovely here but damn the women (other wives) do need to do some self maintenance while hubby is away ....come on ladies the gyms are on base and free so what are you gonna do. I admit that I have been on a few occasions but I am unable to go because of medical reasons but believe me if I can get a good friend to go just in case I become ill then I will have my self there every other morning, afternoon,etc. I thought the women here would be a challenge to me and I am proud of how I look but I am not in my 20s-30s like most of these women. Well I am just venting but I am Good to Go but I do wish I could have a vacation as planned with my hubby in tow ...HHHMMM maybe he might have a accident oh well , HE HE. Oh to all my girlys I love ya and know that just because you don't see me doesn't mean that I don't love you. Remember to leave all the trash outside and never bring it into your home.
